QUAIL EGG Vanilla Bean & Egg Yolk Bar Soap

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 5 views · 0 saves

Split one (or more!) vanilla bean, scrape the insides into the warm oils so the pretty black specks are distributed evenly. “Temper” the egg yolk(s) by removing a cup of warm oil and vanilla bean specks and mix it with the beaten egg yolk(s). (One egg if chicken, perhaps 3 egg yolks if using quail eggs) Then return the yolk+oil mixture to the rest of the oils and blend with stick blender until totally incorporated. Maybe add a splash of warmed honey mixed with distilled water? THEN add cooled lye solution. For fragrance, I might use one or both of: Coconut Cream FO by BB Vanilla Apple Cinnamon FO by BB
