Painted Hills, etc

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 5 views · 0 saves

I was inspired by a trip to the Painted Hills in Oregon;Sage and Juniper aromas! 1st batch combined oils and lye water at 100* whisked for 5 min to a light trace, separated into red , yellow, green beige. did a swirl in the old pattern 2nd batch, green and blue oxide too thick to do the wave pattern, pretty though 3rd batch combined oils and kye water 80* whisked for 8 minutes, EOs; sandalwood, lemongrass, pamlarosa, ginger. very nice semi wave
