All Purpose Cleaning Soap with Citric Acid

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 5 views · 0 saves

Watch me make this recipe at YouTube.com/c/JandWSoaps Citric acid is 1.5% of the oil weight for this recipe. Mix the citric acid with enough distilled water to dissolve it completely. Add it to the soap batter at trace. (I have more recently heard it's best to add the citric acid to the lye solution. This will bubble and create heat. Be very careful adding when adding it to the lye solution.) This is not a soap making tutorial. This is merely a recipe. It is the responsibility of anyone attempting this recipe to understand and apply safe soap making practices. This is not a beginner recipe.
