300g Test Blend) 40% Shea / 40% Cocoa Butter, 14% SunflowerH.O.,, 6% Castor

Solid Soap · NaOH · 100 g oil load · 5% superfat · 4 views · 0 saves

Someone on the SNIF Facebook group (Soapmaking Natural Ingredients Forum) said they were wordering if a 50% shea and 50% Cocoa butter soap would be good. There were some negative comments (like it would be a “bad” soap). I decided to try a variation and it reminds me of a 5 year old 100% OO soap -except it smells lovely! It is a wonderful facial soap. It breaks all the “rules” -and i really lIke it! It will make a fabulou “baby soap”! My next test variation with this rearly high shea and cocoa butter will be with 5% CO 5%Castor and 45% each of Shea & cocoa butter.
